Prayer & Testimony Submission Policy

Every submission form asks who may see what you write, and “Private” is always the starting choice. Nothing you write is shared beyond our administrator unless you explicitly choose otherwise.

Prayer requests offer three choices: Private (only our administrator reads it), Prayer Team (shared with our approved, confidentiality-bound prayer volunteers after review), or Public Prayer Wall (may be shown on the site after review).

If you choose to share publicly, you decide how your name appears: Anonymous, or your first name only. Your email address is never displayed, sold, or shared with other visitors.

Every public submission is read and approved by our administrator before it appears on the Prayer Wall or Our Stories page. We may decline a submission, or edit lightly for length or clarity, and we’ll never change the meaning of what you shared.

You can ask for a correction or removal of anything you’ve shared at any time — no explanation needed. Email prayer@thecrossandme.com with the subject “Removal request” and include enough detail for us to find your post. We aim to complete removals within 7–10 days.

Please don’t include another person’s private information, health details about others, or content that is unlawful or harmful. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please see our Faith & Content Disclaimer — prayer is precious, but it is not a substitute for professional help.

Visitors under 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission before submitting. We do not knowingly accept submissions from children under 13; parents may contact us to have a child’s submission removed.
